Membership

SAA's Membership is limited to 55 members, not including graduating seniors.  If a member does not achieve the minimum value for points in one semester, the Secretary shall bring a list of all members with an inadequate amount of points to the Executive Board who will vote to send warning letters.  This occurs at mid-semester.  If upon completion of the semester these members fail to achieve said point total, dismissal from the organization will result.  If the member appeals the process, the matter shall be brought to the Executive Board.

To be a member in active status, members must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Serve as a member on at least one committee per semester
  • Hold at least one office hour per week
  • Attend weekly meetings 5pm on Wednesday
  • Attend all mandatory events (Homecoming bonfire, Survival Kit packing,  Rhody Rally, Oozeball etc.)
