Homecoming

Homecoming is a long standing tradition at URI and SAA is the lead provider of campus spirit that weekend. Plans include a bonfire accompanied by fireworks over the football stadium, naming the Homecoming King and Queen, and Rhody tent village prior to the Homecoming football game. Rhody Rally

Rhody Rally is the largest pep rally held to boost the Homecoming spirit on campus.  Rhody Rally is a celebration honoring the sports teams, both varsity and club, featuring high intensity performances, contests, and giveaways.  Rhody Rally always take place the Friday night before Homecoming in Keaney gymnasium. Tickets and Rhody Rally t-shirts are sold around campus during the week leading up to the main event.  For more information please contact the URI Spirit Committee at spirit@urisaa.org

Survival Kits

Every semester, the Student Alumni Association provides URI parents the opportunity to send their URI student a special treat. The SAA Survival Kit includes a fun surprise (winter hat, mug, tote bag, etc.) as well as many important study aids including juice drinks, lots of candy, granola bars, snacks, and more!  Click here to find the application; All order forms are due November 5th. Oozeball

The Student Alumni Association and other sponsors are getting down and dirty again this year for the muddiest event URI has ever seen: Oozeball! For those of you unfamiliar with the event, Oozeball is a double-elimination volleyball tournament in inches and inches of thick mud.  For more information please contact oozeball@urisaa.org
