President's Welcome

Welcome to the website of URI’s Student Alumni Association! Our mission, to connect students “past, present, and future,” motivates us to create lasting relationships within the URI community. For twenty five years, the Student Alumni Association has not only connected the student body with the alumni, but it has also spread school spirit throughout the URI community.

URI SAA plays a large role in campus and community events. If you have ever gathered in Keaney gymnasium for Rhody Rally to kick off our basketball season, received a survival kit to get you through finals, or rolled around in the mud at our annual Oozeball tournament, then you have experienced just a small part of what SAA means to the community.

While we inform the student body of our Alumni Association and the importance of staying connected to the university after graduation, we also encourage our alumni to stay dedicated to their alma mater. The connections we create are essential to the unique character of URI and the ever-growing URI family.

The Student Alumni Association is a great way to get involved on campus. There are many events, programs, and service projects that we facilitate. You can find out more about these throughout the website and you can also feel free to send any questions or comments to president@urisaa.org.
